We use sustainable reclaimed solid pine wood, unless stated on the product listing... All boards are sourced locally & mainly used in the construction industry.

Awesome question… We pride ourselves on being a manufacturer using reclaimed and upcycled materials - sustainability is a critical part of our DNA; we love being creative and breathing new life into something which can be enjoyed for many years.


Each of our Reclaimed Solid Wood Scaffold Boards have distressed, rustic finishes which may include knots, natural colour variations, weathered surfaces, cracks, saw marks and signs of a hard life; these are all common & not considered defects.


A uniquely imperfect & individual finish, which we have waxed to enhance, enrich & preserve… They are NOT intended to be perfectly flat or smooth.

It’s our top priority to deliver your new furniture in mint condition as swiftly as possible… We have an estimated lead-time on each item & will confirm a dispatch date within your confirmation email.

We’ll also let you know when we dispatch, with a tracking number; so you can keep an eye out for the postie!

We offer free postage on all our items; however, some locations may attract a charge based on what we are charged by our courier to that location. There may be an additional charge to ship to remote locations like the Scottish Highlands & Islands and to Northern Ireland...

No; as all our timber is reclaimed, it would be impossible to offer a colour match… It’s important to note that the samples will never produce an exact match for the item you receive; we use reclaimed wood, which by its very nature is individually unique – No two pieces are ever the same; this is all part of the beauty & character of using reclaimed wood.

The colour swatches and samples are a realistic average of the colour & a far better representation than what the manufacturer supplies!... Its important to bear in mind that the wax is translucent (the wood will show through) & enhances the natural beauty of the board; a naturally darker coloured board will appear darker & a naturally lighter coloured board will appear lighter.

We want you to love your Statement Furniture piece. Should you be unhappy with your purchase for any reason, returns may be accepted at our discretion. The product(s) must be returned at your cost within 14 days of the date you received it & the product must be in its original packaging as it was received and unused. Please consider a tracked service as returns are your responsibility until it arrives back in our possession.

Notify us via email at info@statement-furniture.co.uk within 7 days of receiving your order if you wish to initiate a return or exchange for any reason. Be sure to specify your name, order number, delivery address and reason for return. Once we receive the product, we will notify you and issue a refund, replacement, or credit during the next business day.

Please note: Furniture that is bespoke/ made to order is not subject to distance selling regulations and is therefore non-returnable. Because custom orders begin immediately upon order placement, they cannot be cancelled, changed, returned, or refunded as they are designed and built to your specifications.

We include aftercare instructions with all our orders; for most items, surfaces can be dry-wiped with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove surface dust. For minor surface stains, scuffs and marks, wipe with a slightly dampened (not wet) cloth with water.
